Allianz Worldwide Partners names a new Board of Management led by Rémi Grenier

Created in 2014, Allianz Worldwide Partners is Allianz’s B2B2C business that combines the strength, experience and expertise of Allianz Global Automotive, Allianz Global Assistance, and Allianz Worldwide Care.
The Board members represent different functions and areas of expertise, as well as different lines of business and geographical regions.

In December 2015, 55-year old Frenchman Rémi Grenier took the helm of Allianz Worldwide Partners after 8 years as CEO and Chairman of Allianz Global Assistance. From 1984 to 2004, Rémi Grenier held different management positions within the AXA Group, notably as Director of Collective Insurance, Director of Risks for Individuals, Director Europe International, and Director of Finance for AXA France. From November 2004 to June 2006, he was CEO of the Médéric Group, and then from September 2006 to July 2007 he served as Deputy Managing Director of the AGF Group, responsible for the Non-Life Insurance entity. He was also a member of the Executive Committee. Mr. Grenier was appointed head of Allianz Global Assistance in August 2007. A graduate of HEC with a doctoral degree in law, he is also a certified accountant and an actuary.

Anh Tran was appointed CFO and a member of the Board of Allianz Worldwide Partners in 2015, thereby continuing her career in insurance since joining Allianz in 2000. Her career with Allianz has spanned several positions, including Global Head of Audit to Financial Controller and Co-manager of the Sarbanes Oxley project at Allianz SE. She has also held positions with several insurance and financial services companies in the United States, including Fireman’s Fund, Pacific Life, Collins Associates, Dover Asset Management and the Cole Company. 
50 years old and American, Anh Tran graduated with a degree in economics and political science from the University of California at Irvine. She also has an MBA in finance, strategy and computing. 

Fabio de Ferrari has been the COO and a member of the Board of Allianz Worldwide Partners since 2012. He started his career in 1991 as a research engineer at Hewlett Packard in Bristol (UK), and then became the European Program Manager for HP Consulting in the area of business support systems for EMEA Telecom operators in 1995. He then became Program Director at Gartner Group in 1999. He moved on to McKinsey in 2001, where he led projects mostly in the banking and insurance sector. In 2005, he was appointed General Manager of GeSI, the Italian IT company of Allianz Italy, where he also held the position of Head of Operations for Allianz Italy. In 2008, he became the CEO of Cedacri, the largest IT and OPS outsourcer in the Italian market, and member of the board of several companies of the Cedacri group. 
Born in Italy in 1965, Fabio de Ferrari graduated in 1990 from the University of Padova with a degree specializing in Electronic Engineering. 

In charge of HR and Communications for Allianz Worldwide Partners since 2014, Ulrich Delius has a long-standing career in the insurance industry. He joined Allianz in 1986, and has held various managerial positions in Singapore, South Africa and Munich. There he led Group Development and was Head of the Allianz CEO office. Ulrich Delius joined Allianz Global Assistance in Paris in 2007 as Chief Operations Officer, as well as being Director of the German speaking markets (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).
Ulrich Delius, who is German/Namibian, studied law at the universities of Cape Town, Tübingen and Göttingen.

President and CEO of Mondial Assistance France from April 2012 to April 2016, Dan Assouline joined Allianz Worldwide Partners to manage Direct Sales and Digital. From 1998 to 2012, he was the CEO of Allianz Global Assistance Brazil. From 2008 to 2012, he also held the position of Regional Director for Latin America and successfully led Allianz Global Assistance operations in the Americas zone. Dan Assouline initially went to Brazil in 1993 as Director of Operations for Mercosul Assistance, which the Group acquired in 1996. Prior to joining the group, he spent 8 years at GMF Assistance International as Director of Information Systems. Dan Assouline, who is 53 years old, earned a Master's degree from the University of Paris-Dauphine, and also completed two Senior Executive Programmes – one at the University of Pennsylvania and the other at INSEAD.

Ida Luka-Lognoné, Polish and French citizen, has a wealth of experience in the insurance industry. Having joined Elvia Travel Insurance Group in 1992, she was appointed Director of Business Development for Central and Eastern Europe in 1996. She became Director of the European Region for Mondial Assistance Group in 2000, and a Member of its Executive Committee in 2002, in charge of EMEA and in 2007 of APAC. In January 2014 she has joined the Board of Allianz Worldwide Partners as Head of Strategy, Innovation and Market Management and in 2015 she was appointed as CEO of Allianz Worldwide Care.
Ida Luka-Lognoné graduated from Cracow Jagiellonian University, Inalco in France and completed Executive Programs of INSEAD. 

Since January 1st, 2016, Sylvie Ouziel has been responsible for steering, positioning and expanding the Assistance line of business worldwide and in charge of the Asia-Pacific region of Allianz Worldwide Partners. She joined Allianz in February 2012 as Chairwoman of Allianz Managed Operations and Services SE (AMOS). Sylvie Ouziel spent 20 years with Accenture (previously Andersen Consulting) where she built and led professional services practices (consulting, IT, outsourcing) and held several positions including Managing Partner Health and Life Sciences, President of Invita and Global COO of Accenture Management Consulting.
She graduated from Ecole Centrale Paris with an engineering degree specialising in economics, and earned an Executive MBA from Kellogg’s Northwestern (Accenture program). Sylvie Ouziel is also currently a non-executive board member of M6 and Foncière des Regions, as well as a member of the scientific committee for the Convention on Health Analysis and Management in France.

41-year old Claudius Leibfritz is the most recent member to have joined the Board of Allianz Worldwide Partners in March 2016. Since 2015 he has held the position of CEO of both Allianz Global Assistance for DACH & SEE and Allianz Handwerker Services. Mr. Leibfritz joined Allianz Global Assistance in 2011 as Group Director of Operations and Networks. He was in charge of all global operations activities and successfully implemented complex global transformation programs and efficiency initiatives. Prior to that, he spent over 10 years with the Boston Consulting Group where he led various international projects. He holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Berne in Switzerland and a Master's degree from Tübingen University in Germany.
