Regular Health Checks

Did you know most of our out-patient plans include regular Health and wellbeing checks, designed to help you stay proactive about your health by screening for the early detection of illness or disease. 

Regular health checks can help identify potential health issues before they become serious. Most out-patient plans cover comprehensive screening, including:


 
Physical
Examination: 

A thorough check-up to assess your overall health.


 
Chest X-ray & Blood Tests: 

Includes chest X-ray, full blood count, biochemistry, lipid profile, thyroid function test, liver function test, and kidney function test.


 
Cardiovascular Examination: 

Physical examination, electrocardiogram, and blood pressure measurement to ensure your heart health.


 
Neurological Examination:

Physical examination to assess your nervous system.


 
Bone Densitometry: 

Available every five years for women aged 50+ to check bone health.


 
Well Child Test: 

For children up to the age of six years to ensure their healthy development.


In addition most of our out-patient plans also include cancer screening, which may include an annual gynaecological exam, mammogram, annual prostate screening, colonoscopy, annual faecal occult blood test, and BRCA1 and BRCA2 genetic test (where a direct family history exists).

Log in to MyHealth Digital Services to see if your plan includes the Health and Wellbeing Check benefit.


 
Book an Appointment: 

If the benefit is included in your cover, schedule your health check with your preferred healthcare provider.


 
Receive Treatment: 

Attend your appointment and receive your health check.


 
Get an Invoice: 

Obtain an invoice from your medical provider.


 
Claim Costs: 

Claim back your eligible costs via MyHealth Digital Services.
