Allianz Partners has announced the creation of two new senior roles for its international health brand, Allianz Care, appointing David Myers as Head of Global Relationships and Thomas Duvernoy as Head of Global Health and Protection Services.
These new appointments signal the company’s commitment to its intermediary channel and to delivering innovative international health and protection services to its customers.
David Myers has almost 20 years’ experience in the corporate insurance industry, having held numerous management positions across the Allianz Group’s global offices. A chartered insurer, David also holds an MBA from the European School of Management and Technology (ESMT) in Berlin. In his new role David will focus on strengthening broker distribution management including relationships with key global partners.
Meanwhile, Thomas Duvernoy joins from Henner, where he was Head of International Medical Network. Holding an MBA in Health from Paris Dauphine University, Thomas has extensive experience in the healthcare sector, having begun his career as an intensive care unit (ICU) nurse, before going on to run operations for Europ Assistance. In his new position he will play a key role in shaping the company’s roadmap for health services.
