With global cancer rates increasing by the year and the World Health Organisation predicting diagnosis to increase by 70 per cent over the next two decades, cancer diagnosis and care should be an essential element of your health insurance.

As diplomacy often happens far from home, a cancer diagnosis can be an incredibly challenging time for you and your loved ones when you're away from your usual support system. The last thing you need is to worry about what will or won’t be covered.

At Allianz Partners, we want to support you during these vulnerable times, regardless of the type of cancer or what stage of your journey you contact us. We believe it is important to cover all your options when it comes to cancer diagnosis and care. That's why we are dedicated to the wellbeing of diplomats and have a range of services available to support you whenever you need them the most. With international health insurance from Allianz Partners, you’ll have cover for in-patient, day-care and out-patient oncology treatment.
Remember, you will be away from familiar surroundings with all the cultural and language difficulties that can bring. The Summit plan offers locally compliant plans, which means you get the same benefit no matter what region you are based in. You also enjoy access to a host of support services, including a 24/7 multilingual helpline, translation of documents, and support and guidance through the local health system. We also take over any administrative burden from you by paying providers directly, and we can set up ad hoc direct payment with a pharmacy of your choice for expensive drug costs.

When choosing Allianz Partners as your partner in international health insurance, we don’t just support you for medical costs. We will provide additional services to help you, diplomats, and embassy employees to cope with the challenges following a cancer diagnosis. We offer one of the most comprehensive oncology benefits on the market, with 100 per cent coverage, and no co-payments (when you pay a percentage of medical costs) or deductibles (a fixed amount that you must pay for medical bills per period of cover).
